For the raw and energetic punk band Yo No La Tengo, the goal was to craft a live visual experience that was as visceral and immediate as their sound. I collaborated closely with the band's art team to design a cohesive visual narrative that bridged the gap between Bogota's underground spirit and some of the country's largest stages, including Rock al Parque and Festival Estéreo Picnic. This partnership transformed their iconic identity into a high-octane visual environment that was executed live, matching the chaotic pulse of their performance in real-time.
Bringing this visual world to life required a multi-layered creative and technical process. It wasn't just about loops; it involved direct involvement in concept-driven film shoots, capturing specific textures and urban narratives, followed by intensive post-production, editing, and dynamic animation. The result was a seamless blend of DIY punk aesthetics and professional visual production, carefully orchestrated to enhance the band's sonic chaos.
