Daniel Shambo is an award-winning art director and immersive media artist blending animation, creative coding, and new media design to craft visually poetic, sensorial experiences.
With over 7 years of experience, I’ve led multidisciplinary projects across film, theater, concerts, installations, and fulldome media. Showcased in more than 10 countries worldwide. My practice bridges VR and traditional animation, creative coding and bio-design, nature and technology. I thrive on innovation, collaboration, and storytelling that invites diverse audiences to play, feel, connect and learn. Ultimately becoming part of a shared, sensorial narrative.

2023 | Frontiers in Psychology – Scientific Publication
Co-authored and co-developed a multisensory mindfulness installation integrating olfatory, auditory, and visual stimuli with real-time biofeedback. The research was published in the peer-reviewed journal Frontiers in Psychology.

Grant awarded for the production of Materia Ondulatoria, a fulldome film that merges immersive media with scientific metaphor to explore the nature of reality.

Finalist in the BioDesign Challenge at the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), New York. Presented Rootknit, a speculative biodesign project that imagined living materials as architectural interfaces.
